The project will be implementing a tailored version of EVMS in 2012 and that challenge will be a primary focus in addition to providing normal scheduling support to the project

 

3/11 – 7/11:  MASTER SCHEDULER, NER, PEMBROKE, MA

 

·  Performed as the Master Scheduler on the Tactical Armored Patrol Vehicle (TAPV) Canadian government proposal for Force Protection in SC using MS Project 2003.  Provided the full suite of scheduling services in support of the client’s proposal response to the Canadian government that has the potential to result in a high-value, long term influx of revenue.  CWBS development and the program IMS development and Executive Summary and Program Management Plan were the main areas of concentration.

·  Developed the initial CWBS for the proposal and assisted with the development of unique Basis of Estimate documents due the multinational aspect of the proposal.

·  Provided schedule development and support to several other Force Protection projects that have foreign customers.  The suite of Force Protection armored vehicles are used to protect the lives of their troops in combat areas.

·  Long term assignment to the Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Kansas City District providing P2 support for all District project schedules.  Primary tasking was customer support and project activities related to the P2 system, training of junior controls personnel, Help Desk and trouble shooting, implementation of CPM Schedules, Work Packages and Cost Accounts, development of periodic Status Reports, and training related to P2 for groups or one-on-one.

·  Led the creation and maintenance of integrated schedules for USACE, Kansas City.  The schedules were created using P2, which is the USACE Enterprise tool that utilizes P3E and Oracle as their backbone for planning, executing, and reporting project and program information.  Some of the schedules were created with Primavera v 6.

 

01/2007 – 6/2008:  ASSOCIATE, STEVEN MEYERS & ASSOCIATES (SM&A), NEWPORT BEACH, CA

 

·  Worked with a commercial client in Birmingham, AL to develop Scheduling Processes and Desk Procedures to support a newly-minted PMO.  Assisted with the development and use of an Enterprise Resource pool with the long term goal of transitioning to MS Project Server.  Training client personnel on use of MS Project and other items that are integral to good project scheduling practices.  Drafted a notional schema to point charge numbers to the Control Account and Work Package levels.

·  Performed on assignment with a customer in Anaheim, CA leading the effort to help the client develop, format & implement its first fully EVMS compliant Integrated Master Schedule for a major DoD project.  Also, developed EVM S compliant schedules for six other smaller projects as well as identified areas of the client EVMS Process Description that needed additional clarification, or may have been left out initially.

·  Performed as representative of the customer to the DCMA Joint Surveillance team in Tucson.  Secondary responsibility was to conduct Internal Reviews of major EVMS programs during breaks in the DCMA Joint Surveillances until the end of 2007.

·  Took a short-term assignment as a Contractor to Raytheon in Portsmouth, RI.  As a Sr. Scheduler on the DDX contract, provided the full suite of scheduling support for four key elements of the program using Microsoft Project Enterprise.
